I have been writing about Greenwich real estate for a long time. Market reports, neighborhood breakdowns, data analysis. But we recently realized there is something missing on GreenwichStreets.com… a single place where someone who is new to Greenwich, thinking about becoming a Greenwich resident, or even a fellow long-term resident who wants to learn about Greenwich from our lens, could go to understand what it actually has to offer.

It covers the schools, public and private, with enough detail to help a family understand how the district lines work and what the options actually are. It covers the beaches, the parks, the clubs, the Avenue, the commute, the seasonal calendar, the restaurants, and the day-to-day rhythm of a town that has been drawing people from New York City for generations.

And it has a resident's directory, an A-to-Z reference of the shops, services, institutions, and organizations that make Greenwich run, that any new or longtime resident will find genuinely useful.

Why We Built It

The Greenwich Streets Team has been in this market for a long time. Russell Pruner has been selling real estate here since 1985. Dena Zarra has been working across Greenwich, Old Greenwich, and Stamford for 30 years. I moved here, got involved in the community, served on the RTM, the Land Trust, the Bar Association, and have been writing about this market every week for years. Timothy Agro, a descendant of the founding families of Greenwich, is a lifetime resident of Greenwich. Felipe was born in Brazil, lived in Belgium, and grew up in Greenwich, giving him a unique perspective and multicultural advantage.

Between the five of us on this team, we know Greenwich the way you can only when you have actually lived here. The school district lines. The neighborhoods that have changed. The clubs differences that are worth knowing about. The restaurants that have been here since before Greenwich Avenue became what it is today.
